Again this is lighter and much more orange than the Ramos Pinto 30 Year Old, glorious deep foxy orange colour, like caramelised apricot skins. On the palate too there is all that lovely spiced dark apricot aroma, dried mixed peel and just slightly nutty and spicy. Caramelised orange and lovely freshness. Sweet and juicy on the palate but finishes dry-tasting even with this amount of residual sugar. Long tangy aftertaste. Lots of spice and apricot fruit. Remarkably lively and fruity for a 30 Year Old. (JH) Drink 2917 - 2022.
