Bright lemon in colour with a nose of struck flint, preserved lemons and just a touch of wood smoke. There is a savoury edge to the aromatics that makes the wine very enticing. The palate starts with fresh citrus but gains weight with creamy peaches and pears adding a lightly oily texture. This is cut through by vibrant acidity, complementing the gun smoke notes on the finish. Complex and long, this has great harmony between its sweet and savoury elements.
