Mazis Chambertin, Olivier Bernstein 2010

Tasting Notes

**Note: from Mazis Hauts**
This was brooding in barrel and now that it's in bottle it is still brooding with an introverted nose that allows itself to be evaluated only after aggressive swirling grudgingly liberates glimpses of earthy, spicy and gamy ripe wild red berry fruit aromas. There is outstanding intensity, richness and volume to the mouth coating broad-shouldered flavors that exude a fine minerality on the explosive and massively long finish. This very firmly structured effort is a definite 'wow' wine that should amply reward long-term cellaring. An old school Mazis.
