Tasting Notes

Pure cassis and cherry on the nose with a slight herbal, garrigue note underneath sweet and smoky oak. Cassis and star anise on the palate provide a ripe core for a silky smooth frame of chalky tannins which are lifted by fresh acidity, which gives a savoury, fresh edge and lift on the finish. Spices and smoke come through on the back of the palate, supporting the fruit and lingering in harmony with the riper elements of this wine.
