Tasting Notes

A wine with fine tannins and a silky texture. Medium body, a dense center-palate and a clean, mineral, berry aftertaste. New, second wine from Château Canon. Better in 2017.

A bright ruby colour in the glass, this has a floral, delicate and bright red-fruited nose, with just a hint of nutmeg in the background. The palate is bright, with brisk acidity cutting through glossy red fruits and slick, fine tannins. The soft-texture makes this very approachable, and the compact and bright fruits make it easy-drinking and moreish.
