Here a subtle application of wood sets off the softly spicy aromas of cassis, plum and floral wisps. Once again there is a sleek mouth feel to the muscular and almost painfully intense flavors that are big but not massive, all wrapped in a more evidently mineral-driven and explosively long finish. This is powerful but regal and also built-to-age.
