Chambolle Musigny Amoureuses, Domaine Georges & Christophe Roumier 2014

Tasting Notes

The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses has an exquisitely defined bouquet, a touch of shucked oyster shell infusing the red cherry and blackberry fruit, as well as hints of cassis developing in the glass. The palate is crisp and taut, with fine acidity and crisp tannin; it is linear and so energetic on the finish, this has to be one of the best wines of the vintage. It is a wine that can barely contain its talent and it is sure to give so much pleasure over the next 20-30 years. This is simply awesome. Drink Date 2018 - 2045

Very deep crimson. Heady. Ripe chestnuts on the nose. Compelling nose. Rich and deep. So much concentration! Violets too. Very fine tannins. 2023 - 2045
