The 2015 Sénéjac has developed nicely over the last two years, although it remains a wine built on floral/savory aromatics and midweight structure. Sweet red berry, tobacco, mint and licorice add shades of nuance to this decidedly understated Haut-Médoc. I had hoped the 2015 would fill out a bit during its aging, but that has not happened. The blend is 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. 2018 - 2027

Mid crimson only. Inky and fragrant. Very sweet palate entry. Finishes dry. Not a standout but very competent. Light- to medium-bodied.
