Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Jean-Marie Fourrier 2014

Tasting Notes

Moderate wood surrounds the spicier nose that consists primarily of dark cherry, cassis, floral and exotic tea nuances. There is an unusually lush and generously proportioned middle weight plus flavors that exhibit excellent intensity and a light minerality while delivering really lovely complexity on the balanced and highly persistent finale. Once again I underscore that this is clearly built-to-age and is going to require at least moderate patience.
