Gevrey Chambertin, Domaine Perrot-Minot 2014

Tasting Notes

A cool, pure and airy nose present notes of red and dark earth-inflected fruit where once again there is a discreet floral wisp. There is more punch to the delicious and again seductively textured medium-bodied flavors where a fine bead of minerality adds a sense of lift to the rich, sappy and lingering finish. While certainly very pretty this isn't overly complex but if this can add more depth than my score envisions, it should make for a very fine Gevrey villages as I like the delivery.
