Tasting Notes

Tasting like a lighter weight 2011, the 2014 Cote Rotie Chateau d’Ampuis gives up forward and sexy notes of smoked meats, black raspberries, sweet oak and graphite. Possessing beautiful purity of fruit, sweet tannin and solid overall balance, it has a ways to go before being bottled, but will certainly be a solid wine.
