Chambolle Musigny Les Veroilles, Domaine Ghislaine Barthod 2013

A superbly elegant and pure nose of essence of red berry fruit, spice and the same wet stone nuances. There is excellent delineation to the racy middle weight flavors that possess a dusty but refined mouth feel before culminating in an austere and backward but beautifully balanced finish. This doesn't have the seductive palate feel of several of the wines in the range but I very much like the minerality and Zen-like sense of harmony.
