Deep garnet in colour. Chocolate and sweet plums with a little start anise on the nose - already earthy and leathery too. The palate is smoky and plummy, with classic ripe tannins coating the mouth. Rounded and spicy, the sweet fruit shows through with a leathery, earthy depth alongisde the structure. Ripe and fleshy through to the finish.
