Clos Saint Denis, Lucien Le Moine 2011

Tasting Notes

There is enough reduction present to block everything but evanescent whiffs of floral scents. There is really lovely intensity and focus to the solidly well-concentrated medium weight flavors that are also firm but markedly less powerful and robust than those of the Clos de la Roche, all wrapped in an elegant, pure and well-balanced finish. This is also very promising and while the tannins are fine they're also dense.
