The fresh and densely fruited dark berry nose is quite ripe with an intensely earthy and sauvage character that extends to the impressively rich, even opulent full-bodied flavors that possess so much extract that there is a chewy aspect to the mouth coating and concentrated mid-palate, all wrapped in a long, powerful, rustic and dramatic finish. This is an impressive effort though note that patience will be required.
