Gevrey Chambertin VV, Domaine Bachelet 2010

Tasting Notes

**Note: from vines averaging between 60 and 70 years of age**
A slightly more complex if similar nose adds touches of violets and plum to the aromatic mix before introducing vibrant, intense, dense and quite serious flavors that enjoy impressive mid-palate concentration as well as an ample amount of tannin-buffering sap, all wrapped in a lingering and impeccably well-balanced finish. Again, it's rare to see this level of quality for this particular appellation. In a word, terrific.
