Tasting Notes

Love the spicy, nutmeg and floral nose to this. Medium-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a medium finish. Tight now, but should come around. Should be a bit better after 2007.

James Suckling, Wine Spectator, March 2003

Medium ruby, showing slight fade at the rim. A pure blackcurrant and cedar nose with a hint of nutmeg. The palate balances ripe cassis with smooth tannins and earthy undertones. Smooth and round with classic Cabernet fruit flavours and hints of toast and spice on the finish. Balance and purity, and at a perfect moment for drinking now with both a ripe fruit core and complexity from developed notes.
