Chambolle Musigny Amoureuses, Domaine Georges & Christophe Roumier 2010

Tasting Notes

A notably spicy and intensely floral nose features notes of plum, rose petal, violets and ripe red currants. This also displays a wonderfully silky mid-palate where the cool and pure flavors enjoy superb delineation that is aided greatly the almost palpable sense of underlying tension on the focused, harmonious and driving finish. There is stunning depth of material and while there have been many, many great vintages for this wine, the 2010 will be among them. A knockout.
