A very discreet hint of wood frames the strikingly fresh white flower, pear, green apple and wet stone aromas. There is good richness but also excellent detail to the medium weight flavors that brim with a fine minerality on the ultra-pure and refined finish. As the best examples of Tillets almost always are, this is fine to the point of being quite delicate yet the flavor authority and sense of underlying tension give this real character. Superb.
Classic Meursault aromas of orange, hazelnut and oatmeal. Chewy and deep, conveying an impression of tightly coiled power. Wonderfully seamless, silky, palate-saturating wine with a finishing juiciness that leaves the taste buds vibrating. Roulot loves this but finds the 2011 version more elegant.
