Gevrey Chambertin VV, Domaine Bachelet 2007

Tasting Notes

**Note: from vines averaging between 60 and 70 years of age**
A discreet touch of wood sets off ripe dark berry fruit, warm earth and floral notes, especially violet that meld seamlessly into concentrated, velvety and seductive flavors that exude dry extract on the long and sappy finish. This is very Gevrey despite the silky mouth feel. This is an excellent villages that is already relatively open though it should amply repay short-term cellaring.
