Tasting Notes

A relatively deeply pitched nose of cool and pure dark berry fruit and stone aromas leads to delicious, precise and energetic flavors that culminate in a firm and linear finish that is a bit more structured than the Fils et Père version reviewed below.

Tasted at the Domaine. There is a little more refinement on the nose compared to the negociant Chambolle Village with perhaps more purity and lift. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and depth, a little more feminine with good definition and tension towards the linear, poised finish. Very strict and tightly wound at the moment but great potential. Tasted November 2010.
