Chambolle Musigny Combe d'Orveau Ultra, Domaine Perrot-Minot 2010

Tasting Notes

**Note: this limited two barrel cuvée is crafted from 70+ year old vines that abut the Musigny climat called La Combe d'Orveau, which is a monopole of Domaine Jacques Prieur; it is not made every vintage as it is only made from shot berries**
This possesses one of the most complex noses of the entire range with a broad array of aromas that include notes of ripe plum, red currant, cassis and wet stone. There is superb richness to the intense, concentrated and palate coating flavors that possess outstanding length. It's clear that the underlying tannins enjoy excellent phenolic maturity and as it usually is, this is most impressive.
