This is normally 95% Cabernet with some Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc making up the blend. Smooth, dark, rich elegant nose of cassis with a touch of chocolate. Concentrated, pure fruit on the palate, which is elegantly rich, with the primary fruit complemented by spiciness and savoury structure. Serious.
