Tasting Notes

Bottled and tasted at the Domaine. This has a lovely bouquet with raspberry, wild strawberry and superb underlying mineralite. Very expressive and feminine. The palate is finely balanced with silky tannins, wonderful poise and focus, with an understated, pepper-tinged sweet finish. Tasted January 2011.

A ripe, spicy and relatively elegant nose of fresh red currants, earth and spice hints is followed by rich, supple and very round medium-bodied flavors that possess a seductive texture on the delicious and long finish. This is good but it's remarkably forward, indeed it's almost a bit too soft.
