Tasting Notes

This is very ripe and a tad confected on the nose with touches of tinned strawberries and a little sawdust. The palate is ripe with succulent tannins, although this is not a complex wine with notes of cherry, pomegranate and a touch of raspberry leaf. Good definition on the slightly austere finish. Not bad although not a long-term contender.

Relatively pale and maroon notes. Opulent, exotic nose - a little smudgy. Could do with very slightly more focus and lift. A little bit foot-dragging. Hint of Earl Grey tea.
