Tasting Notes

Good deep, bright red. Somewhat exotic aromas of heady oak, red licorice and minerals. Juicy, perfumed and dry, with pungent notes of minerals and blood orange. A distinctly cooler, tightly wound wine with an edge of youthful acidity giving it a rather disjointed character today. Perhaps best on the lingering, scented finish. Proprietor Eva Reh says this is a full 14% alcohol. Very difficult to taste today, as this still appears to have some unconverted malic acidity.
