Gevrey Champ Chenys VV, Domaine Joseph Roty 2005

Tasting Notes

**Note: from vines planted in 1934 that directly abut Charmes-Chambertin**
The wood is much better integrated here though hardly invisible with similar dark berry fruit aromas and earth notes that lead to rich, full, sweet and well-muscled flavors that are strikingly concentrated and brimming with dry extract on the tighter and more precise finish. This may actually eat its wood though that is not a certainty.
