A lightly spiced nose combines with earth, underbrush, game and very ripe red berry and plum aromas to introduce rich, powerful and serious middle weight flavors that possess ample amounts of extract, all wrapped in a dense and palate staining finish. This is an excellent effort that offers both power and elegance. 2019+
A spicy, fresh and pretty if less elegant nose is composed primarily of earth suffused red berry fruit aromas that are in keeping with the impressively complex and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent depth and verve on the lightly mineral-driven finish. This is lovely and is as much Vosne as Nuits.
