Tasting Notes

Saturated ruby. Sappy, profound aromas of currant, tobacco and mocha; austere in the manner of a great young claret. Very rich and deep, with a flavor of crystallized black raspberry. Distinctly blacker in flavor than most 2000 cabernets and Bordeaux blends from the North Coast. Wonderfully seamless and elegant wine, lush and extremely long on the back. Today the tannins are buried under a wave of fruit.
