Tasting Notes

The 1997 Brunello di Montalcino Ugolaia is a selection of the best lots. Solid and dark in color, its nose expresses wild cherries, kirsch, plums, tar, and minerals. Powerful and muscular, but not at the expense of the tannins’ smoothness, its sweet fruit and chocolate flavors are unending. The finish shows the freshness which is Bernabei’s signature. Drink: 2005-2016.
