Tasting Notes
The medium-bodied, somewhat austere, noticeably oaky and tannic 1988 Forts de Latour possesses good aging potential, but lacks charm, complexity, and concentration. Nevertheless, it is an elegant, understated wine. Anticipated maturity: Now-2002.
