It reveals a deep garnet color with an amber edge. The wine exhibited sweet chocolate, jammy black cherry fruit, and lush, precocious, low acid, heady flavors with excellent to outstanding concentration. Some spice and cedar notes emerged with breathing. This fleshy wine appears to be maturing at an accelerated pace. I would opt for drinking it now and over the next 15 years.
