Tasting Notes

Much more reserved and borderline austere with elegant, spicy aromas of blueberry, violets and earth that introduce relatively big, robust, rich flavors that display solid tannins and good focus on the notably long finish. The superb intensity and outstanding depth makes for a very distinguished effort from what can be a pretty ordinary appellation.

Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, January 2004

High-toned cherry, mineral and earth notes are wrapped in a cloak of tannins in this dense, concentrated, traditional Burgundy. All the elements are there; just needs time to absorb its tannins. Not imported into the U.S. Best from 2012 through 2030.
