Tasting Notes

The 1998 Percarlo IGT exhibits characteristics of over-ripe black cherry fruit, toasty new oak, and a touch of volatile acidity. Flamboyant, rich, chewy, and unctuously-textured, it possesses abundant quantities of fruit as well as moderate tannin. Give it another two years of cellaring and enjoy it over the following 14-15.
