Tasting Notes

Along with Lusseau, Croix de Labrie is one of the most decadently hedonistic and luxuriously fruity wines of Bordeaux. It also possesses undeniable complexity, texture, and class. This estate has only been producing wine for a little over a decade, and since it is made in very limited quantities, it represents the quintessential St.-Emilion garagiste wine. A sleeper of the vintage, the opulent, full-bodied 2006 exhibits aromas of kirsch, blackberry jam, coffee, crushed rocks, and flowers. Drink it during its first 12-15 years of life.
