Tasting Notes

With the surge in quality at Montrose, it is not surprising to see similar improvements in the second wine. The 1991 La Dame de Montrose exhibits a deeply saturated color, and a big, spicy, ripe nose of dusty black fruits and minerals. The wine is deep, with medium body, moderate tannin, and excellent ripeness and concentration. It should drink well for 5-7 years.
