Both a touch more mineral and a touch riper than its blended counterpart, the 2022 Vosne-Romanée La Colombière offers up aromas of dark berries, cherries, peonies and spices framed by sweet new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and layered palate.
A classic Vosne nose of various dark berries, plum, exotic tea and sandalwood leads to beautifully textured, seductive and velvety medium-bodied flavors that possess good length. I wouldn't describe this as particularly vibrant but there's enough to maintain the balance. Note: from a .86 ha parcel of <80-year-old vines Drink: 2029+
