Elegant berry fruit intermixed with incense, roasted herbs, underbrush and notes of cedar wood and white chocolate characterize this dark ruby/plum-colored wine. It is succulent, round and another sleeper of the vintage Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
There is a lot of oak on the nose of the Tour Seran, which slightly obscures the fruit profile. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins on the entry. There are layers of ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit with vanilla and even a touch of honey towards the lavish finish. This has very good concentration – one of 2010 more decadent cru bourgeois. Drink now-2018. Tasted September 2012.
