Ready, Steady, ROSÉ
The new vintage of our hugely popular southern French Rosé has now arrived. The 2016 Côteaux de Languedoc Prestige Rosé from Château Puech-Haut is the sixth vintage that we have imported and it just keeps getting better and better. As always, we are confident that this wine would beat most (if not all) other rosés that you may be contemplating buying.
A blend of Cinsault and Grenache, we haven’t considered buying any other rosé at this price point as this wine produces year in, year out. We have sold over 3500 cases of it since we started working with Puech-Haut, with many of you buying it religiously each vintage.
The style here is one of a lighter, Provençal rosé with a specific focus on freshness. It really does make the perfect garden drinking during these increasingly sunny days and we’re assured that temperatures are due to rise in the not too distant future.
There cannot be many (if any) finer rosés out there that offer better value for money.

Pale pink in colour. Ripe strawberries and raspberries leap from the glass. The palate has fantastic freshness and acidity supporting the cornucopia of fruit - strawberries, redcurrants, and ripe peach. There is plenty of fruit here for those looking for a juicy, ripe rosé but it is all kept in check by mouth-watering acidity which provides fantastic balance to the wine. It is all finished off by a lovely roundness on the palate. This is a must-buy for the summer sun.
