The "No-Brainer" 2015 Prestige Rouge from Puech-Haut

Given the sheer number of cases of Puech-Haut that we have sold over the past couple of years, it would be a fair assumption that most of you are now familiar with this brilliant producer. It is, without doubt, one of our best discoveries and the wines continue to offer spectacular value-for-money year in, year out.

Their 2015 Prestige Rouge is the Château's flagship wine. A complex Rhône-style Grenache/Syrah blend made from old vines and yet priced at only a fraction of its Rhône counterparts.

The 2009 vintage of this cuvée became one of our best-selling wines ever, and subsequent vintages have also been very well received. This 2015 is yet again a lot of wine for the money. It is juicy yet fresh and has a great deal of complexity for a wine that is so modestly priced. Jeb Dunnuck, when at the Wine Advocate, awarded it 93 points and has commented that it “...has lots of richness and texture, yet stays balanced, lively and pure.”

At just £110 per case in bond (and discounts for volume orders), we think that this wine is an absolute bargain!
