The super-concentrated 2000 Riesling Cuvee Frederic Emile Selection de Grains Nobles has lemon candy, herbal tea, mineral, and slate aromas and flavors. This is a bright, highly-delineated, yet rich wine with loads of sweet, luscious flavors. Drink it over the course of the next 20+ years.
Tobacco leaf aroma – most unusual! Good tension. Still a little chewy. Incredibly youthful for an 18-year-old wine! Some very slight petrol aroma but with great excitement and richness. Long.
