Heavy reduction. An extremely concentrated and powerful mid-palate adds weight to the intensely mineral-driven and cool broad-shouldered flavors that possess chewy and mouth coating tannins that are largely, if not completely, buffered by the remarkable amounts of dry extract that is present in abundance on the focused, moderately austere and strikingly long finish. A wine for the very long-term.
