Musigny VV, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé 2021

Tasting Notes

The brooding nose only grudgingly displays softly perfumed floral nuances, exotic tea, the essence of red cherry as well a background hint of kirsch. As is always the case, there is markedly more size, weight and density to the bigger-bodied and notably more powerful flavors that conclude in a very backward, compact and even more mineral-driven finish that is also chiseled. This hugely long effort is certainly built to reward extended keeping and will need a minimum of a decade to begin to emerge from its firm chrysalis. Very promising. 2036+
