A bright garnet colour in the glass, the nose here is perfumed with a mixture of fresh hedgerow fruit, red cherry and a hint of sage. Light on its feet, the palate is slick and fine with delicate tannins framing bright red fruit. Fresh acids provide zip and lift, this is a high-toned, refreshing and moreish Segla. Compact yet long on the finish, this vintage offers value and approachability - enjoy it now and over the next 5+ years.
The Segla 2017 is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It leaps with spritely notes of kirsch, blackberry preserves, and redcurrant jelly, plus wafts of fallen leaves and spice cake. Medium-bodied, the delicately styled palate has lovely freshness, with soft tannins and a spicy finish.
