This Lazzarito has a sort of Pinot Noir-like elegance, with notes of peony, earthy strawberry, cinnamon and matured orange. There's a lot of vibrancy and fierce savouriness, and it's impressively spicy on the palate. The attack is firm with chalky tannins that cling to the gums, a bit sticky but ripe. It's very austere on the finish but good quality. A powerful wine with great gracefulness on the nose. Potential for long ageing. 2024-2050
