The 2018 Indaco (a blend of equal parts Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) is soft and richly textured. This wine is all about mouthfeel, and there is plenty of dark fruit, spice and sweet tobacco. The tannins show a dusty quality, and the wine is long and polished. Production is 13,000 bottles. Fruit comes from a 10-hectare site that is very high in elevation (above 350 meters) with lots of rocks and stones. 2023-2030
Much more savoury than Scipio. Cigar-box spices and herbs. A sense of blackcurrant threading in and through pressed damson skin. Ineffably elegant acidity and beautifully integrated, strong but fluid tannins. A spectrum of tobacco leaf, from green to gold to copper-rustling-dry. Stony dignity. Very impressive. 2023-2032
