Cornas Juliette, Domaine Franck Balthazar 2021

Tasting Notes

(16 hl barrel, on lees, no SO2 yet) bright red, purple tone robe; the bouquet is very pure, shows pepper-licorice, violets. The palate bears floral, crystalline black fruit, blue fruit, holds fine powder tannins; it’s not especially profound, but runs along well, gathers a light accumulation of matter towards the finish. Harvested between two rainfalls of 100 mm [4 in], a five day window then. From spring 2024. 2038-40 Nov 2022 ****
